Dolphins

I feelmost concerned about the animals living by the Gulf. Whenever disasters relatedto the Gulf occur, they are almost always the first to be affected. My favoriteanimals living in the Gulf are the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Recently, manyjuvenile dolphins are dying, but I hope that they find out soon so they can fixit.

SomethingI have learned is that a dolphin’s brain is larger than a human’s, so hopefullythey’re smart enough to pay closer attention to their babies. I have alsolearned that their teeth are very sharp, so when they catch a fish, they justchomp down and swallow. Dolphins need air, so in their skulls is a hole calleda blowhole. They push whatever excess water they have out, and replace it withair. They must surface for air about every 10 minutes. All in all, dolphins areamazing animals, and I hope they never become extinct.
